How we work

An active search campaign — not a passive matching service.

We run a structured, six-stage search across your target markets. You stay involved at the points that matter and we handle everything in between. We do not introduce a candidate unless we are confident they are both qualified and genuinely interested.

01. Define

We build a detailed partner profile with you: financial thresholds, operational requirements, sector experience, geographic focus and non-negotiables. This defines exactly who we are looking for and makes every subsequent approach targeted and credible.

02. Identify

We activate our regional network — multi-brand operators, developers, investor groups, family offices and franchise associations — and cross-reference it against the parties we know to be actively acquiring in each market.

03. Outreach

Direct, personalised outreach to qualified candidates. We share your brand information memorandum, gauge seriousness and test initial fit. Most candidates already know us, or know someone who does.

04. Screen

Initial qualification: financial capacity, portfolio track record, references. Non-qualifiers are removed quickly — we do not spend your time on candidates who are enthusiastic but not capable.

05. Vet

Deep due diligence on the shortlist: site visits where warranted, financial verification, reference checks, legal entity review and in-market reputation. This is where a search earns its fee.

06. Introduce

A scored shortlist with our clear recommendation. We facilitate first meetings, site visits and term sheet discussions through to Heads of Terms — and stay in the room for the difficult parts.

Partner types we find

The right structure depends on the market as much as the brand.

Master Franchisee

Exclusive rights to develop and sub-franchise across a country. The most common structure for international brands entering the region.

Area Developer

Commits to a defined number of locations in a territory without sub-franchising rights. Common in Singapore and Thailand.

Licence Partner

Operates under a lighter licence agreement — preferred where full franchise infrastructure isn't yet in place.

JV Equity Partner

Co-invests in a jointly owned operating entity. Often required in Indonesia and Vietnam where foreign ownership is restricted.

Investment Partner

Pure capital for a company-owned expansion, without operational involvement.

Strategic Partner

A local business with complementary assets — property, distribution, existing network — that de-risks and accelerates entry.
