About

Specialists, not generalists.

Gateway Advisory Asia is based in Bali and works across Southeast Asia. We do one thing better than anyone: find international brands the right expansion partner and get the deal structured properly.

We are not a big-four consultancy producing strategy decks. We are not a local broker with a handful of contacts and a commission to chase. And we are not a database service that emails you a spreadsheet of names.

Gateway Advisory Asia founder in Bali
Founder's background

Over 25 years in franchising, multi-site operations and territory expansion across the UK, Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Mike Logos started as a co-founder and CEO in the QSR sector, building a franchise business from early development through to an exit at above-market valuation. That operating experience, including raising capital, scaling teams, running commercial and legal due diligence, and advising founders through exits, is what sits behind Gateway Advisory Asia today.

Since then he has held CEO, Managing Director and General Partner roles with international franchise consultancies and investment groups, advised brands at PwC, led M&A and divisional growth for a listed food group, and continues to act as a private investor and non-executive director to fast-growing companies.

The result is advice drawn from having been on both sides of the table: as a founder who sold, an investor who backed, and a consultant who structured the deal.

Principles

Say no often.

If the brand isn't ready, or the market isn't right, we say so at the discovery call rather than sell a study.

We represent the brand.

Never the partner. No side commissions, no dual mandates, no conflicts.

Vetting over volume.

A shortlist of three genuinely capable partners beats twenty enthusiastic introductions.

Stay past the signature.

Launch support and regional advisory exist because the first eighteen months decide the outcome.
